How We Work

Our Lineage. Our Purpose.

The Earth Elders is a global nonprofit (registered as The Grand Council of the Eagle and the Condor) rooted in Indigenous leadership and Traditional Ecological Knowledge. We work to protect and regenerate Nature by empowering Original Peoples—those who have safeguarded their territories for thousands of years.

We speak of bio-culture—the sacred, interwoven relationship between biological life (plants, animals, ecosystems) and cultural life (languages, beliefs, practices, knowledge systems).

For Original Peoples, these connections are lived, practiced, and passed on through generations.

Recognizing and preserving bio-culture acknowledges that human culture and nature are not separate—they are co-evolving and deeply intertwined.

This perspective holds profound solutions for restoring planetary balance.

Our Mission

To protect and regenerate Earth’s ecosystems by supporting Indigenous-led conservation and revitalizing traditional systems of care.

Our Sacred Vision

A world where humans and all life flourish together, guided by ancient wisdom and reciprocal relationship with the natural world.

Who Guides Us

We are led by a Council of Earth Elders—wisdom keepers across the globe who guide our actions and hold the spiritual and ecological foundations of our work. Through their leadership, we champion a new model of conservation rooted in ancestral knowledge and sacred responsibility. As part of this mission, we convene leaders from Original Nations across the world, uniting voices, visions, and strategies to protect life in all its forms.
